The consumer would discuss their needs and circumstances. The advocate and consumer come up with the Ford Escape with options. The specs that someone wants to buy a Ford Escape with options is then placed in the car vendor exchange without any consumer contact information. The auto dealers then reverse bid and auction to offer their best deal. When the bidding is over, usually after a week, the advocate contacts the consumer with the lowest three bids and the advocate and the consumer then discuss them. The consumer then decides which vendor to use. The advocate then monitors the buying experience to rate the vendor and how it all went so that future consumers can benefit from the results.
In the end, the advocacy process results in a better product for the consumer at the lowest price. The core concept of our model.
