I am a professional who has worked as a business analyst for fortune 500 companies most of my career. Because of my zest for life and living it to its fullest, and because of my creativity and passion for design, I have decided to give up my career and follow my dreams and begin a home staging business. I am young, ambitious, very detailed and very much know what I like and dislike. I want to come accross as the person who will give my clients value added advice that will yield them a very high return on their investment. Home staging is more than just decorating and decluttering and when executed properly can merchandise a homes best features and down play any flaws. It is knowing what it takes to turn a "good" home into a "great" home, appealing to the target market in that area and allowing the buyer to be able to envision themselves living in that home. Home staging is all about creating first impressions.

I live in a large urban city (Toronto, Ontario Canada) where there is plenty of competition in the Home Staging industry. I am targeting home owners, realtors, builders and developers. My desired audience are ultimately home owners and builders that would like to have their homes staged in order to be able to sell them quickly and for top dollar. Often times depending on the neighbourhoods multiple offers can be created on a home that is staged to sell. My desired audience are people who want to work with home stagers and who have in most cases made up their minds that they need assistance to be able to quickly execute the sale of their homes. The audience may range in cultural backgrounds and status. Staging a home to sell is very different from staging a home that will be lived in. You want to be able to appeal to a large target audience with the designs used in the home.
Very creative. Very catchy. Bold. Simple. Easy to read and easy to remember.I would like the Logo to stand out amongst the many competitors that exist. I would like the word "FLIP" to stand out in the full name "Flip Staging Inc." Perhaps a creative font but something that is easy to read, I will leave that up to the designers to be as creative as they can. I love the use of colour but do not wish to use the colour red. When my business card is laid out on a table of other cards in the home staging industry I want my Logo to stand out. No cartoons. I don't want it to be elegant or too fancy as my design style is very casual yet comfortable. I would like it to be cool and somewhat hip. Perhaps a swirl (circular) logo with the word FLIP in the center in a lime green version. The surroundings in a white/grey swirved pattern. Just a thought, I saw something similar and really liked it. Also, if anyone has any monogram ideas...would be interested in seeing those as well.
