What’s the project?
We’re launching a website/blog with the purpose of providing information to cryptocurrency investors that helps them evaluate the investment potential of a coin/project. We want to help the “average investor” understand coins and cryptocurrency, hence the name “Coinprehend” – which is a combination of the words “coin” and “comprehend.”
We require a logo that communicates our brand objectives/promise to the target audience, described below.
Currently, the target audience is the non-sophisticated investor. They have elementary to intermediate knowledge of traditional assets and investments and want to enter the cryptocurrency space, but they don’t know who they can trust for information. They seek out information on our blog and website because it is balanced, objective, and comprehensive.
The target audience is anywhere from 20-35 years in age. They consume a lot of content, they’re smart, and looking for information to help them make a decision about what coin/currency to invest in.
However, progressive thinking, older individuals are a potential target audience segment; for example, baby-boomers who are “plugged into” modern technology and broad-based socioeconomic trends.

What do we want them to think of us?
We want the target audience to view us as credible, smart, and insightful. It is important that the brand communicates trust. We want the brand to be light, friendly, and warm. We want the target audience to view us as trusted advisors.
Look and feel/tone
Smart, warm, friendly, and objective. We don’t want to be viewed as stuffy and serious. We are looking for clean, clear, and not an overly technical logo/design. We want an image and not simply a font.
