We introduce, facilitate relationships between, and teach buyers in the United States and suppliers in China, Taiwan and Vietnam how to work together.
Michael Dotta and Sarah Berndt started Da Ming Kai in 2010, in order to provide small to medium size buyers and suppliers with the same opportunities large companies have to manufacture overseas and sell in to the U.S., respectively.
Da Ming Kai can be said to provide the same essential value as an agent, broker or trading company, in that we connect buyers and suppliers. However, Da Ming Kai does not stand in the middle. Rather, Da Ming Kai work with buyers to find the appropriate sources for their products; sources that will deliver superior products at reasonable prices. At the same time, we also work with suppliers to find buyers for existing product lines and OEM services.
We then teach buyer and supplier how to effectively communicate and negotiate with each other. We provide virtual assistance to monitor the relationship and establish processes, as well as on-the-ground support to oversee production and quality control.
However, Da Ming Kai is only involved until buyer and supplier can successfully work together independently. Our goal is to assist clients in developing direct, one-on-one relationships.
