Decision Tools require a corporate logo. The company blends mathematics/statistics, psychology and software development to provide services to assist organizations with their strategic planning and decision-making. We generally work with senior decision-makers. Our people generally have management consulting or software development backgrounds. The "tools" in the name refer to conceptual tools (e.g. formulae, processes) in addition to the more obvious software.
Our image is professional and contemporary, but we are also viewed as being slightly maverick in our approach - i.e. we're willing to depart from the mainstream. This is a component of our brand that we definitely value. We also tend to be seen as relatively technically sophisticated (e.g. in our use of technology).
The logo will need to work for electronic (e.g. websites, software, PDFs) and print (e.g. business cards, stationary, brochures) media (none of which have been designed yet). As the primary use will be electronic, it should not be too subtle (in terms of design elements). Ideally it will also work well in monochrome (e.g. on laser-printed letters), but this is a secondary requirement. If distinctive elements of the logo work as an icon (i.e. 32 x 32 pixels), then all the better (although this is not an essential requirement).
Images should be provided in Adobe Illustrator format.
