We are a small organic vegetable farm. We sell our produce at the farmers market, restaurants, local stores, and school cafeterias. Our audience is diverse in age, income level, and general life philosophy. We need a logo that appeals to both "little old ladies" and 20-somethings. Ideally, it will be bright enough to catch the eyes of farmers market goers (as a large sign) as well as be used on labels on bags of mixed salad greens. Ideally, we'll put the logo on tote bags and t-shirts too. The font needs to be clear and easy to read--we like the uploaded example from Serendipity Farms. We live in a place with lots of other small farms and though we have a solid customer base, we think a new logo could draw in new folks. For more info, see our website: alchemygardensVT.com

Diseño de inspiración
Our idea for a logo, as with the sketches we've uploaded, is to show a vibrant, healthy sprout (squash sprout/seed, for more botanical info) with the seed still visible on one leaf. Inside the seed is a spark--we love the magic of seeds and how a tiny little seed can grow so much food! We'd like the background to really draw the eye into the sprout. With our slogan "transform your life", you can also think of the sprout as a person, realizing their true potential and taking control of their health through good food, beginning to stand tall towards the sky. The sprout needs to have a healthy root system!
Ideally, our logo will be in color but also have a black and white version. We love the look of more of a block print style, or more rustic art. The sketches were our unskilled attempts to get our ideas across.
Here is our vision, and the meaning behind our name, "Alchemy Gardens":
Like those of the past who worked tirelessly to transform simple elements into gold, we realized our mission is much the same. Following in the footsteps of our ancestors, we work hard and thoughtfully to transform simple elements--seeds, soil, sunlight, and water--into something far greater and certainly more useful than gold. We seek to nurture the seeds that have been passed down to us, in order to provide that with binds us all intimately with the earth, that which served as the genesis of community and culture, and which has the power to sustain life and restore our collective health--good food!
We are open to other design ideas too.
