We believe that those that are fortunate enough to help themselves, should spend time and energy helping those that can’t. The best and easiest way is to spread love with those that don’t get the love and attention they need to heal, grow or live a happy life.
Our founders started their family with 30 week preemie, twin girls, Bella and Gigi (Gianna). Gigi had all odds against her since her first ultrasound, when the doctor said she’d likely be the “disappearing twin”. A fighter, she defied those odds by making it to 30 weeks, but once born, had airway troubles resulting from intubation and physical features. Shortly after birth, the doctors thought it best to give her a tracheostomy and ventilate her to help her breath and develop. She battled spinal meningitis and multiple “code blues” resulting from her airway issues. She came home at 4 months old with in-home nursing. By the grace of God and the work of amazing doctors, after 2 years her airway was reconstructed and she was decanulated, breathing on her own. Her life, and our lives were forever changed for the better as a result.
GigiProject aims to help bring joy to those “on the other side” of our story, where they may not have had the good fortune, the amazing doctors, the faith and love to push through boundaries, or the means to healthcare.
There should be some kind of clear symbol/icon so the logo stands on it's own - Some ideas for the icon, but use your imagination..
- A cape or other inspirational thing like it
- A hidden cross somewhere in the logo (maybe in whitespace)
- The name Gigi written in a way that is easy to distinguish
- Something that reflects spreading love, inspiring others, making people smile.
