Many people are still learning what bubble tea is, and tapioca pearls are often foreign to the American palate (at least the part of socal we are in). Therefore we decided to open up the business after failing to locate high quality boba tea in our area. Most of the bubble tea places are unauthentic, inconsistent, and overwhelming with the 30+ powder flavors.
This is where Hello Boba comes in. We want to create and serve freshly brew craft bubble tea with high quality ingredients customized for the customer. In addition to tea we would also have a full espresso service to appeal to different segments of the market.
Our target audience is a younger, more hip crowd in the coastal southern California area. These customers may be first time drinkers of boba tea, or those who enjoy a cup regularly. Since the product aims to be more refined, we envision educating our customer base about the quality and difference in taste Hello Boba offers.

Diseño de inspiración
Inportant!! We want a red panda as part of our logo.
It is exotic but looks familiar (much like our product). We would like the words "Hello Boba" to surround the logo in a circular fashion, e.g. Hello bent over the top, and Boba bent up around the bottom.
We took our inspiration from a company called "Boba Guys" (http://www.bobaguys.com) and are very drawn to their Aardvark logo's style. Overall we want a simple and attractive logo, that is sophisticated but playful. This logo will be going on plastic cups and social media, so it will need to hold its visual appeal in both environments.
We have attached a crude attempt at creating the look we were going for (generally).
We'd really like for the lettering to be all one neutral color (like black) and the panda to have the red/reddish coloring incorporated.
