Design a golf logo for new training aid product

New golf training aid product marketed to professionals and amateurs alike. The product price point will be around $300 so the logo should reflect a high quality product. While the sport of golf is traditionally considered sophisticated and maybe even a little snooty, the sport is changing and more people of all ages and backgrounds are joining the sport. This product should appeal to the newcomers as well as established pros (male and female). It's a simple product design but initial product sales and research shows that it helps all golfers improve their golf swing. The product has been developed by professional tour golfers and pro golf trainers. It could be tricky to incorporate the product into the design since it's essentially a long pole connected from a wall pivot to the golf club. The concept is that the training aid product improves the muscle memory for a consistent swing (all clubs from driver to putter)

The shopify website will likely use a theme like this (https://themes.shopify.com/themes/launch/styles/bold/preview) so the branding will be modern and simple. The logo will be printed on the packaging, the product, apparel and typical marketing materials (print and digital) so the logo should be relatively simple (flat 1D or 2D with minimal solid color shading) and easily recognizable even if the icon or type font are shrunk to a small size. Minimal (or no) gradients on the icon or type face. An option with the initials PS (for Pro Swing) could be interesting to incorporate into the icon so it could stand alone as a recognized logo without the type face. But we're open to a simple icon and clean type face as well. The logo should be able to stand out on all background colors as a .PNG file without additional shading. The logo would most commonly be used in the horizontal position (meaning the icon would be on the left with the type face logo on the right), but there are times (like on a brochure) when the icon could be placed above the font.
