We've played around with our font and the sort of style we'd like. Please see the logo on our draft web site: http://www.proposalid.com.
Currently, we're using Raleway Thin for the 'Proposal' (the 'P' is 67 pt, the 'roposal' is 55.5 pt. 'Intelligent Design' is '30 pt'). The 'ID' is Trojan Pro (64 pt). All white. This works for us but we'd be happy for any suggested improvements. I note that the 'D' in 'ID' goes slightly below the base of the other characters (part of the Trojan Pro font style). It is not noticeable at this stage but I'd prefer it lined up.
We also have not decided on a colour palette yet. The current web site uses blue (R:008 G:099 B:181) and grey (181, 181, 181). We are not tied to these colours. We've also considered a purple and gold combination.
We need a graphic to go with the text - something that portrays "Intelligent Design". We've investigated numerous options and haven't found one that we can make work - thus this competition.
Here's what we like about the examples below!
**Arcade Example Clean, memorable, unusual, different, simple, clever
**Lake District Example I like how the image is incorporated with the text.
**Prophetmatrix Example Simple and complex at the same time. The graphic is eye-catching. The text is simple and easy to read.
**Thermalaid Example Graphic is clever.
**Turning Earth Example Clever graphic. Integrated well with the text.
**Angel Example Simple but effective graphic. Clever use of the halo. Incorporates all aspects of the product.
**Treehouse Very creative graphic. Simple font that doesn’t detract from the graphic.
**Victorias Kittens Example Sophisticated, regal, formal, like the gradient, professional. Not the font – too femine.
