The name "Kriterion" in Kriterion Consulting is purposefully misspelled for two reasons:
1) The Greek root of Criteria/Criterion is Krites or "Means of Judging".
The definition of Criterion (which is the singular form of Criteria) is "a principle or standard by which something may be judged or decided." Synonyms that I find to be most revealing are Standard, Benchmark.
The goal being that the work we do should elevate our client's to be the standard or benchmark for all future salary negotiations.
2) In baseball, a backwards K signifies a strikeout looking in a scorebook. This is the form that I would think an alternate or secondary logo should take.
One idea I had was this: ꓘriterion Consulting* (Not necessarily in this font)
Additionally, for a secondary or alternate logo, I would love to incorporate the ꓘ housed in square brackets" [ ꓘ ]. The brackets in mathematics often hold a finite or infinite set. It's a nod to the many factors go into salary market research.
These are just ideas, I'm open to any and all other designs.
