Design a new logo for a childrens' magician

I'm a fulltime children's Magician. I mostely do family magic shows for companies, schools, preschools and children's birthday parties! My style is cool, really funny and fresh!

I have a logo (s. files and website: www.tim-salabim.de). Nowadays I usually use the Version without the mascots. Now for my 10th anniversary I want to refresh my logo. The new one should remind of the old one and should use similar colors (the font in yellow), but should be cooler and clearer! The Font should be comic-like like the old one, but more straight and not so detailed. Two examples: I don't like the orange rendered edge anymore. This doesn't look good, if the logo is smaller. It's too detailed. And I don't like it that the font is rising, I want it straight! And the gap between "Tim" and "Salabim" should be bigger, so everyone sees, that they are two separate words, not TimSalabim! I don't like the three mascots anymore. The one in the middle is me. Perhapes one cool and edgy magic mascot like a rabbit or perhapes completely without a mascot. If there is a mascot, I would have a version with and one without it (s. files). To give you an example for a logo I really love, check out the logo that was created for me here on 99designs (Brettspielfux, s. files). I really love the font, the colors and the mascot!!! If there is a mascot, it should be funny and cheeky. I do comedy magic - the whole logo should have a wink ;) The Contest is just about the logo but I need a design for a flyer, businesscard and stage backdrop afterwards!
