We green cleaning products and other related products to create a healthy, happy living environment at home. We want to go back to our cleaning roots where people didn't use chemicals, only natural ingredients and valued cleanliness next to godliness. Our inspiration is from Roman times and the Roman baths and the importance and right to be clean no matter your stature in life. Target audience is mostly women but not limited and targeted to old and young for a desire to harken back to our roots before chemicals that made us sick. Our sales approach will be in schools to start grass roots as year - round fundraisers that provide kids and families with green cleaning package kits. We will also give a portion of the profits to schools and to Clean for a Reason. We want the logo to spark interest and remind people to clean with regard to taking care of our health and the planet.Cleaning didn’t used to be so complicated. Our mother’s knew how to scour pots and pans, scrub bathrooms and make floors shine after we ran through with mud and muck on our shoes. Cleanliness was next to godliness and we knew our duties and our chores. We also didn’t worry a thing about those products our mother’s knew how to use. We knew they cleaned and that they cleaned well. Over time those simple 2-3 products Mom used became 20 different items that overflowed our cabinets and underneath sinks and everything had to be “baby-proofed” for fear of small children ingesting the unpronounceable “chemicals” in each one of these bottles. As we aged, the “smell” of cleaning grew so heavy and thick that we had to open doors and windows to “air” out the clean. Headaches ensued and cleaning felt like a visit to a hospital, not an act of pride in our homes.
What happened to products where we can actually pronounce the ingredients? Everyone is getting sick these days because of the products we opt into and buy. This shouldn’t happen. We need to back to our roots, back to a simple time where laundry smelled liked sheets dried in the sun and bathrooms were a place for bathing, not bleach.
