I have a preliminary draft logo started, but could use help developing it into something more professionally finished. I'm open to a different look as well if you have better ideas. I also have a visual concept in mind, utilizing river rocks and black marker "stick figure" type illustrations throughout our marketing. (Attached sample shows the stone/stick figure drawing concept on the left side. The right side of the design is still rough. Additional marketing pieces like this may become a future project, but not to be addressed right now.) My goal is to use this stone/marker type illustration throughout all our marketing, including our website, print advertising, social media, and animated educational videos, so the logo should be in harmony with this concept. Note, that I want the logo to stand alone as a mature representation of a professional company, so although some hand-drawn influence could be incorporated, I want to be sure the logo doesn't come across as juvenile. Our customers are not kids. What I like about the stone/marker illustrations is that they effectively convey the humanity at the heart of our work -- they represent our customers and the benefits we provide in an accessible, simple-to-understand way, while encompassing all ages, races, genders, economic and educational backgrounds. They are all just "people" and we help everyone regardless of socioeconomic status. Keep in mind this includes providing good service to the wealthy too, not just the poor. We want to do good works in the community by doing good work for everyone in need of our expertise.
Our tag line (although it won't be specifically incorporated into the logo itself, it will be a signature phrase we use throughout our marketing) is:
Everyone deserves a happy home. We're "Here to Help"!
I hope this helps you get a good understanding of our company. Feel free to call me with any questions: Jackie Jae Cowsill 541-556-2003. Thank you!
