We're a small bunch of fellow creatives who are looking to use our 'viral knowhow' to fill the gap in the market for an iconic and culture-defining football (soccer) company. We know football and we know viral video but we also know that we could use a little help with our branding!
We actually have an option for a logo that we feel pretty good about already - BUT we're still convinced that there's something better out there!
Here's some points for you to consider:
-We like the concept of a minimalist and abstract flag because it captures the spirit of football passion without being too literal (by now everything with a ball has been done 1000x before as far as football brands are concerned).
-It's hard to define what we don't like about the current flag design but it seems to lack a bit of "swag" and "attitude".
-It's important that the logo is able to live just as comfortably on a video (watermark), jacket (badge) or on a home screen (app button)
-currently our brand lives on social media primarily and we have a mostly millennial audience so the logo should feel cool, fresh and 'of the moment' yet still have a timeless appeal.
-Since the logo has to work just as well in shrunken down format (app button, watermark) overly detailed designs will not be considered.
*bonus points if you are able to creatively incorporate 'F' into the logo but this is not essential.
**best to steer clear from the flag design of Fanatics (attached) and anything with 3 stripes (adidas)
