The Johnson City Chamber of Commerce is in need of a logo to define and promote the city of Johnson City, a small town in the Texas Hill Country.
Founded in 1879, the picturesque town is surrounded by rolling hills and the Pedernales River. Home to the 36th president of the United States, Lyndon Baines Johnson, the city is filled with historic buildings and a national park dedicated to his memory.
Modern day Johnson City is located in the burgeoning Texas wine country surrounded by award-winning wineries, vineyards, and tasting rooms. The wine trail has also opened the door to local art galleries, restaurants, and unique retail shops. However, Johnson City still offers small town charm, a quaint downtown, and Americana-esque Main Street.
We are looking for a logo that accurately depicts Johnson City and differentiates it among other small Texas towns. The logo should be easily recognizable with a strong identity, possible alternate versions, or brand identity pack. A version of the logo needs to include our tagline, "Crossroads of the Texas Hill Country" with an understanding that it's at the crossroads of history & wine. We plan on using this logo in a variety of applications like: website, business cards, print ads, and even embroidery. Thanks for your help!
