The Barnyard is a fitness group of people who train as a squad. We do all sports including general fitness, cycling, swimming, running and triathlon.
The Barnyard has people all over Australia. We use Facebook and Training Peaks to communicate. Our private Facebook group is where we share stories, achievement, book training sessions together and share photos. We love our photos! We use Training Peaks to receive our weekly plans and communicate back to Coach Dan.
Within our group we have athletes who have competed in World Championships all over the globe. They have traveled to Auckland, London and Kona and soon to Canada.
However we get just as excited when someone does their first run or swims the length of the pool for the first time.
We are all levels, all sizes and all shapes. But most of all we are all equal. Think your not fit enough to join. Dont be silly. We all have to start somewhere!
Group sessions include Swim Squads, Learn to Run, Bike techniques, Run drills, Core and Sprints, Transition Drills, Velodrome Bike and Run sessions and Open Water Swimming Practice. I do individual Coaching session on demand.
