Thanks to all our finalist's for your awesome designs. We are leaning towards a circular design that is simple and bold. It needs to include a bowl and look modern. And have some kind of kiwi spin on it, so either a koru or plant design from NZ with a possible simple cartoon character. We don't want the tiki face anymore. Simple colours with black or white, happy for you to experiment with these and we can refine them over the next couple of days. 3 colours at the most.
We want the logo to have a fun, energetic, healthy, modern vibe.
Excited to see what you all come up with.
We have uploaded a few more photos of other food truck logos below that are heading in our direction.
We are taking kiwi (New Zealand) fusion vegan food to the streets of Aotearoa New Zealand. At the heart of it all is a desire to inspire others to eat more plant-based food. Our story is through first-hand experience, we decided to try this ‘vegan thing’ in mid 2017 and it lead to a surprising change in our health. We know that people will feel better and have increased energy from living a vegan lifestyle. It will also help contribute to helping our environment and compassion for animals.
With our niche market being young people between the ages of 15-35, finding a brand that is aimed towards them is a challenge. What we want to represent is in line with what is trending in New Zealand at this time. Some of these trends include; healthy living, sustainable living and environmental changes, adding our national language Te Reo Maori to schools and the wider society, community events that get people off devices.
We want our brand to reflect health, energy, plant-based food, but to not rub it in people’s faces. I.e., we want to stay clear of the word ‘vegan’ because of the stigma it can sometimes have.
‘Sweet As Bowl’ is a play on words for ‘sweet as bro’, which means many things but mostly one of these: ‘all good my friend’, ‘yes my friend’, ‘no problem my friend’, ‘everything is fine.’
We want the logo to have a relaxed and fun vibe, possibly an emoji or cartoon like character and Maori designs subtly incorporated in some way.
We are drawn to Greens, oranges and earthy colours but are open to ideas.
