I really want the logo to be minimalistic and represent the metaphor behind the word "Naavik", as I believe this metaphor represents our role in a consultant-client relationship quite well. While it is okay for the logo to be incorporated in the word, it is also okay if the logo and word are separate.
"Naavik" is the Hindi word for boatman. A boatman (us) who uses his knowledge, skills and tools to guide a boat (the mobile game) of passengers (clients) through rough waters or troubled times to safety.
While a boatman never claims to know everything about the deep seas, he will provide advise based on cues from the water environment (data) and what he knows (experience). All in an effort to make the journey from A to B for a passenger the most fulfilling one. And if the boatman's advise to the passenger is to NOT go to B, but the passenger insists - the boatman finds the best route there. This is the balance, as a boatman is there to serve, not lead.
The symbolism that needs to be focussed on in this brief is the boatman. A second symbol I like is that of a "fox", because of the role the fox plays in the book "The Little Prince". So if a fox can be minorly integrated into your logo design as a bonus, that would be great! But please focus MORE on the "boatman" and NOT the fox. The fox is second priority.
