We are launching a property portal, and as a multi-sided platform and will connect the user with properties, listed by estate agents.
Our Target Market:
The biggest segment of our audience will be between the age of 25-55 and larger proportion of males than females.
Focusing mainly on home renters and a bit on home buyers, theres also some commercial properties available.
A brief explanation of the name:
Our name is derived from two words, ‘Check’ in English and ‘Bayt’ in Arabic which means home. Additionally, the word ‘Check’ has seen adoption in the Arabic language and is used predominantly as a verb such as ‘Chayik’ meaning ‘to check’ or ‘Chayakd?’ meaning ‘Did you Check?’ The phonetical sound of ‘Chek’ has also been used in Kuwait urban language in the form of ‘Chekboom’ which roughly translates to instant.
In addition to being a property portal we aim to provide detailed housing statistics to help users make more informed decisions.
Logo direction - Do's and Do not:
Simplicity would be key.
Colours: ideally prefer no more than 3, with purple a predominant brand colour
If the logo text was in both English and Arabic, it would be a bonus but not necessary. (incase choosing arabic, please use جيم with 3 dots for the 'ch')
-Avoid any arabic text in Kufic style, if you choose to use arabic font.
-Avoid logo's with tick marks on the roof's, they are more generic and we're looking for something more unique, it doesn't even need a tick mark.
-Avoid, large logo's that may be impractical for different applications
- Not completely against roof logos or pin location, but if it's generic, it might be not considered.
