Design a sharp, 2 color max logo for startup software company!

Small partnership formed in Texas. We have a newly formed company named Ahuli, LLC. "Ahuli" means drum in Cherokee (Native American). We are very interested in your creativity and are very open minded... although a Native American theme is certainly acceptable. We are a Native American owned corporation.

Customers buying our product are oil and gas (energy) related firms located in the USA and Canada. In the future we plan also want to appeal to the green energy market i.e. wind, solar, geothermal, etc. While every customer is different, I see the majority of our customers as traditional who would appreciate a sharp yet innovative logo representing our company. Again, we are looking for your creativity!

Our software product is called "GeoChief" also keeping with the Native American theme. "Geo" represents land/earth and "Chief" signifies a strong/powerful program.

We already had some work done but am interested in getting additional designs work options before we print cards/design a website. The winner will certainly be considered for future work as needed. You can view our current artwork here but remember we are looking for new, innovative approaches :

Looking for a design that prints well on business cards and merchandise alike. I think we want to keep to 2 colors or less to avoid high printing cost and are open minded as to the colors used... personally, my favorite color is blue but perhaps the use of green to tie in with our future plans to be part of the green energy movement is appropriate. I would like the logo to read "GeoChief powered by Ahuli, LLC" with all required formats for printing and web design i.e. PDF and JPG.

I would also like the artwork files to be split i.e. Ahuli, LLC separated from GeoChief so would could use them independently as required. Finally, a huge bonus would also be to submit a business card template using the graphics with your submission to be included in the final purchase price.
