Our service is 5 years old and is visited by hundreds of thousands people monthly and is one of the best known consumer e-commerce sites in Estonia.
We started as a local Groupon, thus a perception of the brand and logo is skewed towards "discount". We are turning the brand, product and the whole user experience much more towards local discovery, inspiration, bigger selection of ideas to search and buy from.
Therefore want the logo to change as well to reflect this new direction.
Our current logo has a few flaws, which we would like to address with the redesign.
Firstly, it is a bit outdated with it’s colors and shadows.
Secondly, it’s not very well usable in case of square design (for example Facebook thumbnail), i.e. we would like the red cherry to be separated from the word cherry, so it could be placed on top of the word or used even separately when needed.
At the same time, our users should still recognize it as their "good old" Cherry, but notice a positive change.
