Design a trendy logo for a rural non-profit bike race fundraiser

We are a community action non-profit and this logo is for a new annual fundraiser bike race event. The event is meant to be advertised as a party type event that is family friendly but also for competitive racers. We are coming at it from a tourism angle to get people to our rural county for its scenic beauty. We have a theme of small town charm, big time fun. We'd like part of the race course incorporated into the design including the Susquehanna River (riverwalk or famous Owego NY bridge), farmland, the Tioga County Courthouse. Another thought was the Bemet Billings farmstead.

Once we have a logo we plan to ask the same artist to design a flyer to promote the event. We are hoping to use the logo both on T-shirts and on finisher medals. The way we advertise, brand, and promote this will really make or break the event. We've included some of the styles our branding committee liked and also some photos of our Tioga County NY center. We kind of like the style of being "cool enough" to be a beer label, if that makes sense! Open to more vintage styles as well.
