We would love a stand alone graphic that can be used with our agency name, or be recognizable by itself.
The reason why we are moving away from our current logo is because it focuses on housing ONLY. We would prefer something that is all encompassing of our programs (or a step back from the literal roof that is in our current logo).
When we asked staff what 5 words they thought of when sharing our mission, they said: "progressive, strategic, welcoming, empowering, and thoughtful".
Since we are one of the oldest domestic violence agencies in Texas, we would love to have a logo that carries weight and integrity, that also is calming and inviting to the women and children we serve.
Overall, we would like a logo that is clean, easy to read, and quick to identify. This logo will be used in all of our marketing and branding including print collateral, website design, and social media.
About a year ago, SafeHaven developed a culture statement: SafeHaven creates community. To us, this means a lot of things:
• Our clients live in community with others, not on the outskirts of society.
• Our staff feel like where they work is their second family, their community – a place where they can be themselves, be honest, be heard.
• Our donors, when they give to SafeHaven, become members of an exclusive club, a community of like-minded individuals.
• Our greater Tarrant County population recognizes that domestic violence is not a “women’s” issue, a “poor” issue, or a “minority” issue – it is everywhere. It does not discriminate. And, in order to solve it, we all have to work in community with one another.
