Kainess is inspired by the word “kain” (fabric in Indonesia) and kindness. Originally, the core concept of the brand is to share happiness and spread kindness through a fabric in various ways, but the current concept is way more practical and clear. In short, kindness and sustainability are now the core values of what we do. Kainess aims to enlighten and empower individuals to live their life intentionally through simple things on a day-to-day basis. We do that through sharing sustainable living and sustainable fashion-related content on our community page and providing a simple and inexpensive way to start a sustainable wardrobe through curated pieces in our vintage shop. We also do the #KainessAct movement on the side to spread happiness to others from the profit of our shop. We’re all about being kind to ourselves, other people, and mama earth. 2022 sounds like a good time for a little rebranding and the logo is where to start. We want it to reflect our core, values, and purpose better. So we’re delighted to see original and meaningful ideas from you! Please refer to the attached files for inspo but feel free to go above and beyond. Things to Remember • Make sure to use the main colors (Soft Green—#a7b792 and Broken White—#f7f4ed). The accent color is there to be exactly like its name, accent—but you don’t necessarily have to use it. Things to Avoid • The opposite of the preferred “Brand Style Attributes” (Classic, Youthful, Masculine, Playful, Economical, Geometric and Literal) • Generic elements—generic leaf, earth, 3R icon, mannequin, hanger, etc. We want authentic but meaningful elements in the design.
