Emblazure is an interactive online environment in which potential employees are able to showcase the talent that traditional resumes simply do not cater for.
People in all areas of talent, (for example singers, dancers, programmers, or even investors) are able to customise their profile that acts as a live resume for the rest of the world. This ‘live resume’ supports hypermedia, enabling employees to display acts of talent, projects undertaken, samples of coding or songs compiled etc.
For an employer, jobs can be listed for application or suitable people can be proactively found using various searching and filtering techniques e.g. based on talents, proximity to a work area etc or for jobs with less specific requirements, resumes can be viewed by browsing the live stream of resume uploads or updates.
Ultimately, this will allow groups such as musicians to find members or producers, travellers to connect with tour guides but most importantly it will connect charities with people willing to work in certain areas.
The integrity of employee’s profiles will be maintained by a feedback and rating system available to any employer that has connected with the worker through the Emblazure service.
Whilst mediums such as Youtube have allowed people to be recognised for their talents in the past, Emblazure hopes to create a formal and structured environment in which people of all areas of skill can find employment.
It should be noted that volunteered charitable work will be actively encouraged and promoted on Emblazure, allowing the needing to take advantage of the service.
