Entrepreneurs are self-starters and Type-A. They love to compete, learn, and improve their business skill set. Entrepreneurship is the means by which all great things are accomplished. An entrepreneur is someone with a big idea, lot’s of guts, and the drive to make it succeed. Entrepreneurs push humanity forward.
The Entrepreneur Olympics is exactly what it sounds like: an event where entrepreneurs compete against each other.
As an event, the Entrepreneur Olympics offers a fully competitive atmosphere, scoring and judging, and quantifiable results. Contestants participate in several categories, that systematically evaluate their overall entrepreneurial accumen, and, likelihood for future business success.
The goal with this design project, is to create a lifestyle brand for competitive entrepreneurship. We want to provide entrepreneurs a platform to continually improve their skills, in a quantifiable, measurable, game-dynamics way. We want them to think they can “level-up” and become a better business-man.
The logo should incorporate some representation of individual skill sets coming together. Think badges. See example below.
We really like the symbol of Atlas, holding the world on his shoulders.
Maybe the globe is similar to the Wikipedia logo, with multiple pieces coming together to make a compete globe.
We like symbols of a Strong Mind, and a Strong Individual.
We like symbols of Entrepreneurship, Perseverance, and Competition.
We like the Graduated Olympic Podium.
We like your original ideas too ;)

Although the Entrepreneur Olympics is a live event, it will also be paired with a significant online presence, that will serve as the digital footprint of the organization. When Entrepreneurs aren't competing at our live events, they will maintain a profile on our website, and communicate with others through our message board. Their profiles will show their competition badges, and rankings for each event.
We really like designers who can also submit rough concepts for some of these digital event badges, in addition to the logo. Winning designers will have a finished logo, and some rough concepts for these badges. There is plenty of extra work for the winning designer, after the 99designs competition is over.
These events badges are listed below. Remember, just rough concepts of 3 or 4 would be enough. :)
