4 Wheel Drive Center specializes in more than 4WD vehicles. In fact, our master technicians share more than a century of automotive repair experience between them! We're biased but, we feel that if our techs can't get a vehicle back in working order, the likelihood of it coming back to life is slim. From brakes, oil changes, lift kits, winch installations, AC service/repair and alignments, if you can dream it, these techs can nail it in short order no matter which domestic car you drive. The location (known as an automotive repair shop since the 1970s) was recently sold and due to a falling out with the previous owner, renamed. Interestingly, a large number of people have begun to question whether or not the shop can service cars OTHER than 4WD. (I don't get it either).
Under new ownership, the shop is actively sponsoring local events and is committed to finding the perfect logo to represent our skills in the community. We service a number of fleet vehicles in the area including the fire department and emergency medical transports and school buses. For locals, we offer pickup and delivery service by appointment so that they can stay on task at work while keeping up with their car's maintenance needs.

Minimalist but, bold and... powerful? I like the use of the initials tied together with the animal. For my logo, it might be possible to incorporate a vehicle crawling up the text?
Shows a connection to and respect for history. Something old fashioned that is still in style.
Simple but clean and elegant.
I enjoy the representation of landscape in this design.
whimsical without being over the top. With some different colors I think I would like this even more
I chose this mostly due to the separation of the picture and text. HATE the pink but, with the right photo (muddy 4x4 vehicle or otherwise with some old school font... I think it could work!
4 Wheel Drive Center shares a space with Stukel Saw Shop in Klamath County and has the same owner. Designers have complete creative license for this design provided they avoid colors that are traditionally known to be feminine such as pink. I have included a picture of our current store front. A local artist painted our front windows to include caricatures of our mechanics as the previous owner at this location has been telling the public that they have retired. Ultimately, we want something that pays homage to the history and experience of the technicians while still being relevant to the culture of 2018.
UPDATE: Most designers have been submitting variations of "4WD Center" stamped across different colored backdrops. This isn't bad but, it's not something that immediately grabs our attention. We serve an agriculturally diverse community so, many of our customers are coming in with vehicles that have seen many days in the dirt and rough terrain. Still, we do have a fair amount of clients who don't have jobs that require them to be dirty with cars to match. We would like our logo to pay homage to the community that has supported us and our highly experienced technicians and get away from the generic "4WD Center" in various fonts and colors.
