Puppy Playground is a dog daycare & boarding center located in Indianapolis. We are expanding to a second facility and want to update the look and feel of our logo. We are known for our exceptional level of customer service and the personal experience we give to each client (both human and canine) who walks through our door. During their time with us, the dogs run around and play with each other. Today we have 100 dogs in attendance for daycare, so we are a sizeable facility! Yet, we know each client and dog by name. It is crucial for our clients to trust in our service; they have become our great friends as well as customers!
Our lobby has a sort of industrial feel and we typically have fun music playing in the background. We are upbeat, young, and high energy!

The majority of decision makers are female, so the logo needs to not be overly masculine, but at the same time, not cutesy or too playful. Majority of our users are young professionals, 22 - 35. We have a lot of young couples who are active and travel quite a bit; they see their dogs as their children. Our second largest segment are established families who primarily use our boarding service.
The logo needs to have a horizontal orientation. I want to have a professional, polished, clean feel. Nothing cutesy, cartoonish or gaudy; less is more to me. I want the logo to feel fun and upbeat and easily communicate to the customer who we are!
I am open to having just text or incorporating graphics/lines/etc. I like the use of shadow-esk images or simple sketches. The words can either be stacked or all on one line. I am not afraid of having color, however would like to stay away from trendy color combinations. I want something that will apprear well on a business card as well as on huge pylon signage. I would like for the logo to grab the attention of the customer and pop!
