The site is being ready to be launched soon, its an online forex site (online trading site - Financial related) where users can login issue an account and trade currencies and commodities online. If you dont know what forex is please look around on google a bit before you proceed. Similar sites that offers a similar product are fxpro.com, easy-forex.com, etoro.com to name a few. Please dont get confused with online forex portals as this a real trading site and not a portal. The site is somehow serious but fresh its not the usual red and white site. The site is currently online at markets247.com with a sample logo which we are eager to change. The rest of the site design will stay as it is so please adjust to the exisitng colors which are white, blue and orange. Gradients are welcome. The site will attack people that are not 100% experienced traders but are good users of the internet so logo design counts and it has to be fresh, crisp and most importantly SHARP. Not too complicated, not too fidgety but stylish.

Educated people with at least a Bachelors Degree, ages 23-60 most probably financial related. Forex is a new market and some people dont know exactly what it is so the logo has to be catchy as were planning to go with land based adverts too so we need someting thats sticks to the eye. It cant be dull or childish , it has to be serious looking but not too old fashioned, if you look at the site at markets247.com you will realize the touch were trying to get across.

In a few words I would describe the logo we want as:

Modern, Serious, Stylish but sort of Minimal.

Site is financial related, forex is sort of gambling online so the site has to deviate from that by presenting a serious but at the same time fresh character.

The live site will get you a view of the colors were using which are dark blue, white and orange.

Logo must not be flash related, we need it to be static light and nice.

And it should be clear, modern, fresh but serious.
