Split Rock Distilling™ is a small craft distillery situated on the Maine coast in the town of Newcastle. The name is derived from both the Split Rock Road in nearby Bristol, Maine where there is a large split rock, as well as, the common cleaved rock formations along the coastal waters of Maine.
Product Line: Vodka (Premium, Blueberry, Cranberry), Whiskey (White & Aged), Rum (White & Aged) and Gin (Premium Dry, Barrel Aged). As our brand grows, we will embrace the strong seasonal flavor characteristics of the North East with exploration of flavors, techniques and small limited batches.

Founders: Topher and Matt, are natural Creators/Makers, with a family first attitude and a fun infused do-it-yourself mentality (except for logo, we tried)! They have poured their hearts into redesigning the distillery and tasting room from demolition to renovation to equipment installation, completing most of the work themselves while still enjoying their young families and day jobs.
Split Rock aims to be an Approachable Brand: We believe in an Open door policy - when you come to the distillery you will find Topher and Matt there working hard and happy to answer your questions. Our tasting room will include educational opportunities to enrich the public awareness of a timeless craft brought to the 21st century, tours will be available regularly, and for customers with less time the tasting room will have an entire wall of glass peering into the manufacturing area where stills, fermentors and bottling all are in plain sight.
Target Audience: 21+ years of age (which now includes the Millennials), both men and women. Most importantly a conscious consumer, someone who values organic products, self reliance and social responsibility. They are attracted to a high quality of life and have an appetite for adventure and affordable luxury. More specifically someone who is looking for quality and value rather than quantity.
