Fresh takes on the familiar for an emerging travel media brand

I am a writer who currently creates short actionable day trip content for destinations. I use tiny figures (made in Germany, they are called Noch Figuren) to illustrate these trips. I am looking to develop this work into a media brand with accompany products. Tiny Travels is all about finding fresh takes on the familiar, so it is about encouraging travel close to home, thus making all of life more of an adventure. The tagline is "Fresh takes on the familiar." But I don't need that in the logo. The logo will appear in the upper left corner of the (in-progress) website I am building to house all of my posts and develop the brand. It is live now at: https://tinytravels.org/

At this point I would prefer a black and white logo, but I find collaboration fun and important, so if there is a palette that springs to mind please experiment and we can chat.
