We do business development, market development, and fund development. We're a team of freelancers that are strong on business management, resource/fund development work, grant-writing, and tactical marketing work, in addition to a lot of solid accounting and financial advice. We do a ton of work for nonprofits. Our target audience is start-up non-profits, or non-profits that have "stalled out", and need us to be there SWAT team of sorts to get them on-track, get them running, and raise funds. We don't just sit back and advise, we get in and get HANDS ON! We want to convey strength, creativity, and pluck. Love strong colors (pastels need not apply.) :)

We would tend more toward the red and dark neutrals. But a deep and strong darker blue is nice, too. Warm undertones better than cool.

Love the colors, and creative use of geometric. I like that their is a logo graphic along with the company's name.
Cool font, though I wouldn't want ours to look like a tattoo.
Nice and simple, and strong colors.
Very creative use of the shape and the font!
I REALLY like this. Just playful enough, and it would reproduce really well on a lot of collateral. Excellent. (For color preferences, please see our brief above.)
Love that it's simple, and within the logo the name is incorporated subtely. Very clever. I need color in our logo, though.
Like the colors and the vintage look, though it's a bit too wordy.
Like that it's simple and obviously connects name with the logo. I don't like the color.
Beautiful, and I like this approach where the name IS the logo. It might be a tad too dependent on name vs. logo image, though. Gosh, I hope I make sense here. :)
I am a blank slate. If you're going with the red palette, don't use pink. Pink is not us. Strong red, black, grey is good. Even a strong green or strong blue is good. Tend toward warmer undertones in these. Key is to get the point across that what we do for a client, we do WITH them...we jump in and get "hands on" with any project. We don't just advise...we DO. Hope this helps!
The former logo is attached. I like the grunge...wasn't married to the green. But I admit I still like the look with the hands...especially that these are strong, active-looking hands, NOT the schmaltzy "business hands" or "cupping, caring hands" that are SOOO overused in logos. Blecch.
