The logo has got to be simple, yet interesting and sophisticated like Apple, Google, Facebook, Youtube, or FedEx with a tiny flair about it. The "flair" can be the font colors or treatment and a small graphical element. As you know, the biggest most viable brands are powerful because of their complete simplicity.
We would rather avoid complex bows, figures, people, hands, feet, faces, games, etc. which we typically see in the more complicated and interesting graphics that small businesses tend to use with tons of personality. Tons of personality precludes us from having strong appeal across a broad set of ages.
We are aiming for just a subtle wink of personality.
