Red is my favourite colour so using an element of red (either deep blood, crimson, candy, scarlet, or ruby red or a combination of 2 shades of red) in the background and in the letters of the name would be ideal; combined with white for the swan. Please refer to the colour chart on this website as a guideline of the shades of red that I'm referring to: http://digitalsynopsis.com/design/c…of-shades/
I like to have a big “S” and the “ara” of “Sara” in the top part of the name and the “hahidi” of Shahidi to be aligned with the bottom line of the S. Therefore there will be one S for both the first and Surname. See another example saying Sara and Sohael attached for how the letters are to be arranged.
The main concept is to have the “S” as some form of swan. My ideas are:
(1) The S to be a swan and it’s wings spread half open as if getting ready for flight. This can be detailed or minimalistic. No red eyes for the swan please. Please see attached rough sketch of an idea for this.
(2) Or having the swan’s face being that of a woman with long flowing hair that is side parted and she is looking forward, so it looks like she is half swan half woman. I like the idea of the swan being a mix between a swan and an angel with long, dark, flowing hair - like the myth Kinnaris (but without the hands and legs showing). Please see following links for ideas here:Kinnaris (http://himmapaan.livejournal.com/16487.html?thread=149607); angel’s face looking forward (http://aaliyahunleashed.tumblr.com/…artwork-by), woman with flowing hair (http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-317…VSzNw-1-42)
(3)Or have the S as a swan and also a music treble clef similar to the MTF Memory style font on http://www.dafont.com
(4) I also wonder what it would look like to have the dots for the "i" in "Shahidi" to either be hearts or Angel halos as an option.
I would like the logo to be inside an upright oval or round circle shape.
(1)Either the background of the logo to be all red with the swan and the name to be all in white.
(2)The name and background to be in red and the swan to be in white.
For the font type for my name to be in a style similar to the following ideas of font styles I like, but not necessarily exactly these fonts:
Chopin script, Shoe Store, Adine Kirnberg and DS Forelle from http://www.1001fonts.com
