we are looking for a modern, simple but disticnctive logo (e.g. flat design). We are focusing on preventive medicine, but we have decided that we would like to avoid the standard pictorial marks that are already extensively used in our industry (e.g. manikins forming a circle, stethoscope, two hands forming a roof, ...). Please also avoid overly used fonts like Harabara.
The shamrock that is currently used (see upload) is not a must, we are also open to completely new designs. The new logo may or may not use a pictogram. If it is a logo consisting only of letters than it should also be readable in social networks (profile pictures).
In terms of general design, the logo should be simple and clean, so flat design would probably be a good starting point.
We would like to keep blue as primary or secondary color. The current color code is RGB (0/124/195), CMYK (83/44/0/0)
but also this one can be altered. Also the grey tone can be altered.
Current logo: the problems that we have with the current logo is that the font (Helvetica) is often too thin when using it on printed materials. The tagline is often not legibible, so we decided that it is not required in the new logo. The pictoram stems from the first logo (made in 2004) and was based on 4 business unites that don't exist in this form any more, so it is not necessary to keep it in the new logo.
Please let me know if you need additional information.
UPDATE: I just recognized that several entries included a leaf and I was wondering where that came from as we are focusing on medical services. Some probebly got it from the sample logos. The thing is that I had to chose at least 10 sample logos and the one with the two leaves was the last one. It should not mean that I wanted leaves in the logo, it was rather another example of a clean and simple logo. Please see the sample logos as rough points or reference. I will upload some more sample logos to provide further guidance.
