Casas Brasileiras is an apparel & cosmetics retail store founded in Brazil back in 1941. It remained operational until 1989 when it’s founder decided to shut down operations. The brand remained out of the market for more than 20 years. Currently the 3rd generation of company’s founder has put together a business plan to reactivate operations and relaunch the brand. In addition brand awareness creation is a critical KPI on the strategic goals accomplishment. Casas Brasileiras retail point of sales will focus on affordable and economy products on the following categories; a) Lingeries b) Beachwear d) Cosmetics & Beauty e) Personal Care f) Accessories It’ll be sold through a network of own retail stores. Target Audiences • Women • 17-60yrs • C, C+, D Values to Communicate Casas Brasileiras will have a strong focus on customer experience with affordability. All communications & customer contact strategies will highlight the combination of a remarkable customer experience at an affordable price. • Differentiated customer experience with affordability • Differentiated services with low prices • A place where regular women will feel valued

There are key elements on this project, you must present one of the three different alternatives 1) Pictoral Mark 2) Abstract Mark 3) Character that easily connects target audiences to the brand and values. Logo approved will be heavily developed as the power brand of this new corporation and will be heavily used on every single piece of Casas Brasileiras brand consolidation strategy; websites, social networks, printed advertising, point of sales. You must use the colors that refer to Brazilian flag, green, blue, yellow and white. You must also consider that Casas Brasileiras has historically a mascot that had a strong brand awareness with the brand which is an OWL. In addition you may develop projects exploring the concept of the owl as the major character of our brand.
