I'm marketing to TWO markets - A&B:
A) solo/entrepreneurs (founders & their employees) a small team of employees/contractors, international (i.e. I'm appealing to clients outside of USA - especially Canada, England, Australia, Japan…) 80% female focus, 20% focus on men, but the site will not be explicitly designed towards women, just more biased in that direction. The men I'm attracting are more 21st century - they want to bring more heart/gut feeling into their business - less the traditionally masculine way of doing business.
They either have a social cause or care deeply about what they're doing - they're moving into more heart-based & intuitive business decision-making; & going through business (and therefore personal) transition/growth (they are tired of working hard and using masculine tools only. They are hungry to return to honoring their intuition and heart. They realize they have strayed far from that and don’t know how to rely on those tools consistently.
Read business publications plus self-development magazines & books; go to business association meetings and (women's) conventions to be around other successful entrepreneurs; aged early 40s - late 50s.
Their lives are primarily focused on work & they want more time & $ to do the work they love as well as travel first class on long flights, take trips when they want, & be beyond money concerns. They want to create a sustainable business that can support them. They want to feel comfortable, knowing they can take care of themselves fiscally & do work they love in the world. (Making decisions through intuition leads to savvier business decisions & more fulfilling business relationships)
Love for freedom - to be where they want to be, when they want to be there. They love to spend time with friends and don't currently spend as much time as they want to - or when they do they're worried about work. (Because they rely on their minds instead of checking with their hearts and intuition.)
They're experiencing a disconnect between the woman/man that shows up at work - and who they really are - they want to align themselves to be more congruent in their lives.
B) booking agents/speaker agents that would book me to speak at associations & organizations - keynotes and presentations - these will be the places where these entrepreneurial founders and their employees are gathering
