1.- Our company:
Delphinus is a Mexican company which offers swim with Dolphin programs in Cancun and Riviera Maya.
We own 4 locations. Delphinus Dreams Cancun in the heart of Cancun hotel zone; Delphinus Xcaret and Delphinus Xel Ha inside of these natural parks, and Delphinus Riviera Maya 5 miles away from Playa del Carmen.
We offer interactive programs with dolphins; our visitors have the opportunity to interact and to have direct and natural contact with dolphins doing several activities such as:
FREE SWIM: This is the most important and attractive interaction. In this activity our visitors have the opportunity to swim with dolphins in their natural environment, touching them and petting them while they swim. It is very important for us to communicate through our logo this distinctive attraction.
KISS: Our visitors have the real opportunity to kiss a dolphin.
We do have more activities such as:
Hugs, Tail Splash, Tail shake, Bubbles, Bar Jump, Hand Shake etc... But we do not want these activities to be transmitted through our logo.
4.-Why are we willing to change our logo?:
• We need to find an imagotype or icon which can help us to make a difference towards our competitors and also to help us on our positioning.
• We need to update our logo so that we can communicate effectively with our customers according with the new marketing trends in the entertainment industry.
• We need to communicate our product through our logo.
• We need that our icon or imagotype clearly communicate the interaction between a human being and a dolphin.
