I write CONTENT for blogs, websites, press releases, and social media. My customers are business owners and my services help them CONNECT within the DIGITAL world with their potential customers.
Some people call what I do “Digital Public Relations.”
Right now I am an independent contractor, but my logo needs to project an image that will still “work” when I become a digital public relations agency.
I have earned a living as a public relations professional (employed and independent) for 30+ years. Despite my status as a “seasoned” professional, I still find new reasons every day to truly love what I do!
I am still amazed by the power of words to change minds, to open hearts, to multiply perspectives. When I help a client make a connection, it reminds me about the intensity of our human need to discover common grounds and to gain respect for those areas where we are different.
It seems to all smoosh together to create one large picture, one small action, to which we have all contributed something and to which others will eventually do the same.
Sometimes it seems awkwardly unjust for me to get paid for what I do. Writing has always been lots of fun, and now that public relations has gone DIGITAL, there are actually times when I wonder if it wouldn't make more sense for me to be the one paying admission for the experience (although phone bills, etc. have a way of bringing me back to reality). Glo Justice Connects will hopefully someday become a successful digital public relations agency. Until then, I am an independent contractor who provides digital public relations services (developing strategies, researching leads, and writing content for blogs, websites, news releases, and other social media). I would like for my work to also "Contribute to Global Quality of Life -- One Quarter Turn at a Time!" To help make this happen, we target clients that are "earth friendly" -- such as transit agencies that produce their own compressed natural gas and nonprofits that promote protecting the environment.
