groundstation is an emerging software project, which put simply allows for individuals to sync data with other people nearby them, and to propagate data with others by moving among them.
The target audience is largely software developers, although I'm hoping to get some traction among less technical, although still very computer literate communities.
Conceptually, the project uses the notion of stations a lot internally. The metaphor was born thinking of stations in antarctica and the like, which are largely self sufficient, but gossip amongst each other as much as possible when the opportunity arises.
Another interesting aspect of groundstation is that it uses linked string of objects for storage. I'm not worried if this is introduced, but it could make for an interesting concept. I'll upload some examples of other projects that incorporate this into their logo.

A really common issue with software is whether or not the first character of the name should be capitalised. I generally think that it shouldn't be, but because of this ambiguity it would be best to use fonts that look very similar in upper and lower case, or ideally that only have a single variant to avoid confusion.
