We are opening a new practice which will be called 'The Lifehouse'. Our tag line is "leading families to vibrant health and happiness.'
Our practice will feature a mix of family chiropractic care, energy work, massage therapy, and lifestyle-related workshops.
Our target audience is people who are open-minded, and actively seeking ways to be at their best. Our 'avatar' is a well-educated female with a family (young -to-school - age kids) - and who wants to raise her family in as natural way as possible.
We are looking to be 'the place to go' for people who want to create the best lives possible for themselves and their families, and who are looking to be as healthy as possible. We want to be the place to go for people who are looking for more in life than to meet the status quo.

The Lifehouse name represents several things:
1 - We see our logo as a conceptual representation of a lighthouse - we don't want our logo to actually look like a lighthouse - but more like a blend of a tree and sun that makes the viewer think of a lighthouse
2 -Our mission is to help people/families live their lives to the fullest; we plan to create a community of open-minded families who use our practice as 'the resource' for where to go to help them live the best lives possible.
3 - Our practice will be in Nova Scotia, which is an oceanfront province, so we liked the play on words with lighthouse; plus our practice is in a house
4 - The meanings behind our business name: lighthouse meaning: beacon of hope, light, guidance; sun meaning: inner power/light, letting your magnificence shine. tree: tree of life, growth and evolution;We prefer conceptual logos that will bring these ideas across.
4 - Our colours are going to be a deep rust orange (sunset) and brownish-charcoal grey (earth)
5 - We listed ourselves in the 'community' category rather than 'medical and pharmaceutical' as we see our approach as being very different, more all-encompassing, empowering and inspirational and want our logo to communicate that. We do not want our logo to have a medical look to it.
