The foundation is a non-profit that was formed to raise money to address Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). CDH effects 1 in 2500 kids and has a 50% mortality rate. My son is a survivor of CDH and we've started this foundation to raise awareness about the illness, provide support to families who have babies born with CDH, and work with the medical community to raise funds for CDH-related research.

The foundation is named after our son, Teddy, who is a CDH survivor. We like the direct imagery associated with his name; a teddy bear. We want the logo to communicate hope and compassion.
We want to appeal to wealthy donors so it needs to be professional but at the same time the logo will be used to interact with families with sick babies so it needs to appeal to a parent population as well.
