Kaftani is a high-end fashion boutique based in the Middle East, selling Arabian style kaftan (jalabiyya) dresses with a contemporary twist. We expect many of our customers will be Muslims as they will be more familiar with kaftan style dresses, we but want it to be open to all. The design needs to be very elegant and contemporary with a stylized "K" that could be used as an icon for the website (twitter, facebook logo etc). The design may reference Arabian tradition in a subtle way, or it can be completely contemporary. Overall it should feel like the logo of a very high end fashion boutique which charges high prices for hand-tailored clothing. The coior scheme should reflect this also. Finally in Arabic the name is: قفطاني Designs which incorporate this along with the English in a tasteful way will win extra points!
