My firm is a small, progressive, forward-thinking and virtual law firm, which minimizes paper and we've also pretty much eliminated the billable hour by charging clients based on finding solutions, not by the hour.
Please no scales of justice or columns! I am NOT a traditional law firm (EW).
Ideally, the winning submission will have 1) a design that stands out separate and apart from the logo as a whole, 2) the design with the name of my firm (The Law Office of Suzan Hixon PLLC) and 3) the design with the name of my firm as well as the tagline (LOCALLY MINDED. GLOBALLY PROGRESSIVE. ECOLAWGICAL)

My target audience is entrepreneurs (hence the web 2.0 look would be good), start ups and small businesses. These will likely be people who are innovative and very forward thinking, just like I want my firm to be. Also, these people will care about the environment, and appreciate a streamline, web-based law firm (that is, very little paper, work done over the web, etc.)
