In the telecommunication industry, last mile is the term used to describe the final leg of delivering connectivity from a communications provider to a customer.
This term is now being used more frequently in the supply chain industry as the final and crucial connection between the manufacturer/retailer and the customer. The last mile delivery of a product often completes the sale or kills it.
When a customer goes to a shop that does not provide delivery service they call us and we help them with delivery options and even get their product assembled and set-up in their home. So Last Mile here means that the product made it to the reseller but still needs to be carried to the customers home and deployed to be actually used.
Our objective is to complete the sale by connecting consumers with
professional service providers who will deliver and set up their purchases in their home or office. Our mission is to complete the sales cycle for retailers and manufacturers. A product successfully delivered will either bring repeat business or referrals.
