College Republicans (http://www.collegerepublicans.org)
We are the College Republican National Committee. The College Republican National Committee, founded in 1892, is a political 527 based in Washington D.C. that has more than 250,000 members organized into 51 Federations (50 states + D.C.) on more than 1,800 campuses. Our mission is to (1) help elect Republican candidates, (2) train the future leaders of the Republican Party and (3) educate members and non-members on Republican principles; and do all of the above with unmatched passion, vigor, vitality and with a fresh perspective, different from other political organizations. We are a new generation of Republicans, and our logo should reflect our independence, as well as our passion and the firmness in which we hold our beliefs, principles and ideals.
The target audience of the College Republicans are politically active conservative or Republican individuals under the age of 30, many of whom are attending college or are recently (i.e. within last five years) become young professionals.
A designer may use an elephant in the logo, or he/she may not. It is not required, but it may look good with one and may be preferred considering an elephant easy identifiable with the Republican Party. Furthermore a designer, when placing a name in the design, need not use "College Republican National Committee" necessarily. He/she may use just "College Republicans." In fact, it is preferred that a designer submit two proposals, one using "College Republican National Committee" and the other using just "College Republicans." There are no color, font or any other specifications or requirements. Please contact Jeremy Hagen at jhagen@crnc.org with anyone truly pressing questions.
