Top Shelf Sedan Service
Top Shelf Sedan Service is a professional car and limousine service based in Providence, RI and serving all of southeastern New England. Top Shelf Car Service's fleet includes Cadillac DTS Livery Edition Sedans and is committed to providing the highest quality of customer service in the transportation industry. Top Shelf is always on time and ready to accommodate their clients' every need.
Top Shelf's target audience includes wealthy business people local to Providence, RI, and those who are visiting the city and staying in one of the high-end hotels in the area. The company is also targeting area meeting and event planners and those individuals planning events such as weddings, bar mitzvahs, anniversaries, and any other special event.
We're looking for a modern, high-end feel with this logo. The logo will direct the development of the company's website and all collateral materials. It needs to be bold and sleek, but not cold. It needs to be developed in color, but has to look good in black and white, in large or small format.
We're considering building a dark website, so keep in mind the fact that the logo will be sitting on or within the context of a darker color (black and grey/silver maybe).
The main goal is that this logo differentiates the company and its offering from its competitors in the area. Below are a couple local competitors and our thoughts on what we DON'T like about their logos:
http://www.alloccasionlimo.com/ - Logo icon is disconnected from text
http://www.car1transportation.com/ - cheap looking logo, not a "luxury-looking" feel
http://oceanstatelimousine.com/ - sloppy looking, with scribbled font. Yuck.
http://www.msmexec.com/ - boring, noting differentiating this logo from any other offering
http://escortlimori.com/ - not really a logo, is it?
http://theweddingcenterofri.com/htm…artest.htm - Tacky, silly, gross
http://www.sentinellimo.com/ - the least unappealing of the list, but the cursive "s" that is the icon doesn't quite do what it needs to.
Most importantly, please remember that we're trying to build a luxury brand around this logo, so it's got to say "high class".
