I am rebranding CN Hockey Inc to include the offseason hockey "Blueprint." We will run camps, clinics and small group trainning at each age level based on this blueprint...
Mite: Play spring sport. Total skating/skills once a week for 8 weeks. End of August week long camp.
Squirt/Peewee: Play spring sport. Play in 1 summer tourney. Shoot 100 pucks/week. Power skating/skills once a week for 8 weeks (find a 2 hour session). Enter 3v3 or small games league. End of August week long camp.
Bantam: Play spring sport. Shoot 200 pucks/week. Play in 1 summer tourney. Strength training 3x per week. Power Skating once a week for 8 weeks (2 hour sessions). Defensive Positional training once a week for 8 weeks (even if not a defenseman- will help overall game). Enter 3v3 or small games league.
Midget/HS: Play spring sport or work out daily. Shoot 300 pucks/week. Play in 2 summer showcases. Strength training 4x per week. Power Skating/Skills/Small games 2x per week (2 hour sessions).
All levels during the season: Should play more street hockey and less video games. Should watch hockey on TV with a stick and hockey ball. Should watch live College hockey. Should learn to juggle.
