Design should include an iconic symbol that can be used with or without the name "HydroTunnel" or "HydroTunnel Car Wash". I envision signage at our location and on our materials and web site that would be the symbol only and some that would be the symbol plus the name. I included the sample logos not because I thought they were what HydroTunnel's should look like, but rather because they have the icon incorporated into the logo, but in a way that it can be used separately as well.
Ultimately, we would like to develop a chain of car washes where the brand is recognized by the logo as much as the name. Think of incorporating a symbol that feels like moving water - a splash, a wave, a water drop, etc. and maybe, maybe not an abstract automobile. Imagine the stand-alone version of the logo in aluminum form mounted on the side of a large car wash tunnel.
Customers of this car wash will get the sense that they are visiting a very well thought out and funded car wash experience. The locations will be clean and well lit. The tunnels will incorporate a fun "experience" with foam baths and LED lighting. The logo should be a balance of fun and experiential and professional feel, with a lean toward the professional feel.
In addition to the exceptional customer experience, the car wash will celebrate the water savings of washing at our locations. HydroTunnel will recycle the vast majority of water used and will only use about 12-15 gallons of fresh water per car - much less than most other car washes or even doing it yourself...
This is not intended to be just another car wash!!
